To replace or refill the toner on a Canon imageRUNNER 3245, ensure the machine is powered on, then open the front compartment cover of the copier. Locate the circular toner bottle assembly in the center. Rotate the plastic toner bottle locking lever counterclockwise to the unlocked position, then pull the empty toner cartridge straight out toward you. Take your new or refilled toner bottle, give it a gentle shake five to six times to evenly distribute the powder inside, align it with the guide rails, and push it firmly into the slot. Rotate the locking lever clockwise to secure it, and close the front cover.
