Step to register scan folder at CANON IRADV machine
To permanently register a scan-to-folder destination (SMB) directly at a Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE machine, press the physical Settings/Registration button (gear icon). On the touch screen, navigate to Set Destination ->Address Book -> Register New Destination. Select File from the dropdown menu and tap OK. Type in a user-friendly name for the destination button. In the Host Name field, type your computer’s network path (e.g., \\PC-NAME\ScanFolder), and enter your shared folder’s specific network username and password below it. Tap OK and then Save to lock the shortcut into your address book.
