Konica Minolta C227 off auto tray detect paper

To prevent a Konica Minolta bizhub C227 from automatically switching paper drawers or blindly detecting paper, you can turn off the automatic tray selection. Press the physical Utility key on the control panel (or tap Utility on the home screen). On the touch display, navigate to User Settings-> System Settings -> Paper Tray Settings -> Auto Tray Selection Settings.

From here, uncheck or deselect the specific paper trays you want to remove from the automatic cycle (such as trays containing letterhead or colored sheets). Additionally, select Auto Tray Switch ON/OFF in the same menu and set it to [Restrict] or [OFF] so the copier stops printing and prompts for assistance when a drawer runs out, rather than pulling from an alternative paper source.
