To clear a persistent service error or trouble code (such as a C-XXXX fault) on Konica Minolta bizhub C224, C284, C364, or C554 machines, you must perform a hardware reset. First, turn the copier’s main power switch OFF. While holding down the physical Utility/Counter key on the control panel, flip the main power switch back ON. Continue holding the key until the screen illuminates and a black dot or “Trouble Reset” message appears. Tap Trouble Reset on the screen, wait for the “OK” confirmation, and then cycle the main power switch OFF and ON once more to restore normal operation.
