SCAN PROBLEM AFTER UPDATE WINDOWS - ACTIVATE SHARING & SMB BACK
If scanning to your computer fails after a Windows update, the update likely disabled legacy network sharing settings. To reactivate them, open the Windows Control Panel, navigate to Programs and Features, and click Turn Windows features on or off. Scroll down to locate SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support, check the box to enable it, and click OK to install. Next, go to your shared scan folder properties, select the Sharing tab, click Advanced Sharing, ensure “Share this folder” is checked, and grant “Full Control” under Permissions. Restart your PC to restore scanning capabilities.
