Change copier machine version

To change or upgrade the function version on a Konica Minolta machine, you must access the technician’s Service Mode. From the main menu, press System 2 and select Software Switch Setting. Enter switch number 25, which controls the machine’s active function version. Tap on Hex Assignment to modify the hex value (for example, changing a default value like 10 to 40 to enable a higher firmware capability). Press Fix to save the entry, exit the Service Mode, and confirm the new upgraded version under the Device Information menu.
